Agia Roumeli and "Taverna Paralia" offer a wide range of activities to their guests. To the west, just steps from the little harbor, you will find the beach. The clear water invites the visitor to go for a swim and at the end of the beach there are rocks in the water where you can watch different kinds of fish or even octopus while you are snorkeling. To the east it will take a few minutes walk to reach more beaches which are never crowded so you can enjoy the cretan sun mostly by yourself. If you want to see more of the south Crete coast you may walk on the European Walk Way no. 4 (E4) to Loutro and Chora Sfakion or even to Sougia and Paleochora. The ferries will carry you back to Agia Roumeli. Or what about checking out Imbros Gorge? So many options and so little time! You will have to choose. |
